Hello and Namaste!
I'm Akshay, and these are my mountains.
My name is Akshay Thakur, and I'm from Bharmour in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, the ancient temple town at the foot of the Manimahesh Kailash trail.
I currently manage Airbnb properties in Himachal Pradesh, specialising in hospitality and content creation. I also work as a local guide and a certified drone pilot, and I offer these services across India.
Himachali Guide is where all of this comes together. We run small-group treks, host guests in our stays before and after the trail, and I film a lot of the places we walk with my drone.

Treks across Himachal, from two-day walks to high passes. I grew up below the Manimahesh trail and have walked most of these routes many times.
Stays in Himachal
I manage Airbnb homes in Himachal Pradesh, so you can have a proper bed and a hot shower before and after the trek.
Certified drone pilot
Aerial photos and video. I am a certified drone pilot and take on shoots anywhere in India.
Content creation
Photos and short videos from the hills for hotels, homestays and travel brands in Himachal.
